P. Chhotalal Extrusion Works

Our workshop is over at Plot No. 77/1 and 77/7 in Phase I of the Vatva G.I.D.C. area. Being on F Road means there’s always a lot of activity and trucks moving around. P. Chhotalal Extrusion Works isn't a massive corporate entity. We are just a group of people who know how to work with metal extrusions. The facility is split across the two plots, so we are often moving back and forth between them to check on different stages of a job. It can be a bit chaotic during the peak hours, but we have a system that works for us. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. If there's a problem, we just talk it out on the floor. The machinery is heavy and requires a lot of attention. We spend a lot of time making sure the dies are clean and everything is lined up right. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. We take pride in just getting the orders out the door without a lot of fuss. We've been in Vatva for a long time, so we know most of the neighbors. Sometimes we borrow tools from each other if something breaks down. It's a community of makers and we fit right in. We just focus on our specific tasks and try to keep things moving.
