Our office is up on the 7th floor of Paigah Plaza in Basheer Bagh. Being at 701 gives us a bit of a view of the Hyderabad traffic below, which is usually a crawl. It’s a busy area with a lot of commercial buildings and people running errands. We deal with pipes, which isn't the most exciting thing to talk about at parties, but it’s essential. Our office is pretty straightforward. We have desks, some samples of the piping we handle, and a lot of ledgers. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone trying to sell a lifestyle. We just sell pipes to people who need them for building and plumbing. The elevators in the plaza can be slow, so we spend a lot of time waiting for them. Most of our day is spent on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on deliveries. It’s a lot of coordination to make sure the right sizes get to the right sites. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and the customers are satisfied with what they get. It’s a plain, honest business. We have our tea, do our work, and deal with the heat like everyone else in Basheer Bagh. It’s a living, and we’re happy to keep it simple.
