We are over at Ff4 Shalibhadra Appartments, which is in M M Jain Society in the Ramnagar area of Sabarmati. It’s a quiet enough part of Ahmedabad, which is nice when you’re trying to focus. The apartment is where all the work happens. We have turned one of the rooms into a bit of an office space. It’s full of books, some old computers, and a lot of cables that we really should organize better. Sabarmati has a nice feel to it, especially being close to the river area. Most days, we are just here working through whatever is on the list. We don’t have a receptionist or anyone like that. If the doorbell rings, one of us just gets up to see who it is. Usually, it’s just the mail or someone from the society. We like it this way because it’s simple. There is no need for big meetings or long speeches about what we are doing. We just know what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes we take a break and go for a walk near the apartments just to get some air. The kitchen is always stocked with snacks because we tend to work late sometimes. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of setup where we just try to do a good job without making a big fuss about it.
