On Training

You can find us at number 3 in the Hrekrishna Apartments, which is part of the Srinagar Society in Kalol. It’s a quiet spot, away from the main noise of the town. We’ve set up On Training here to help people learn new things. It’s not a big fancy college with a campus. It’s just a few rooms where we sit down and go over lessons. Sometimes the fans are humming and that’s the only sound you hear besides someone talking. We get people from around Kalol who want to improve their skills for work or just for themselves. The society is a nice place, very typical of this part of North Gujarat. We don’t have a big marketing budget, so most of our students come because a friend told them about us. We spend a lot of time preparing materials and talking to people about what they want to achieve. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we have to repeat things a few times until they click, but that’s just how teaching goes. We like seeing people get better at what they do. The apartment is a bit old, but it’s sturdy and serves us well. We’ve got some chairs, a few tables, and a lot of patience. It’s a local effort, and we’re proud to be part of the community here. Every day is a bit different depending on who shows up for class. We just try to be useful to everyone.
