Vijay Solar Energy

We are based out of the Gidc on Ojho Ring Road, right near the Torrent Power station in Ahmedabad. It is an interesting spot to be in, especially since we work with solar energy and we are sitting right next to the big power guys. Our yard is usually full of panels and metal frames. It is a lot of outdoor work, so we get plenty of sun ourselves. We spend our mornings loading up the trucks to go out to sites. It is dusty and loud because of the ring road traffic, but we are used to it. We do not have a shiny showroom. If you come by, you will just see us in our work clothes moving things around or checking the inventory. We have been doing this for a few years, starting back when solar was just beginning to get popular around here. It is honest work, even if it is hot. We have a small office inside where we handle the paperwork and the billing, but most of us prefer being out where the equipment is. We do not promise anything fancy; we just set up the panels and make sure the connections are solid. Ahmedabad is a good place for solar because there is so much sun. We know the other businesses on this stretch of the road. We usually share a tea at the stall nearby. It is a straightforward business and we like it that way.
