Not Working Right Now

Ahmedabad is a place that gets really hot, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the walls of 401 Ratnakar Flats. We are based right here in Gujarat, and the name we go by is Not Working Right Now. It’s a bit of a funny name if you think about it, but it’s what we have on the records. The flat is a basic space with enough room for a few chairs and some old newspapers stacked in the corner. We spend a lot of time just looking out at the city and listening to the scooters buzzing on the street below. There isn't a lot of organized stuff happening here. We don't have fancy brochures or a front desk. Most days, we just drink water and talk about what’s happening in the news. The building is older, so the elevator makes a bit of noise when it moves. Sometimes the neighbors come by to ask about the mail. We don't have a big staff or any of that. It’s just us in this part of India trying to figure things out. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it doesn’t bother us much. We like the way the light comes in through the windows in the evening. Life is just steady and a little slow at Not Working Right Now. We are just a local spot in a big city.
