Nirma Group Karan Paper Mill

Operating the Nirma Group Karan Paper Mill is a full-time job that keeps us all on our toes. We are located on Madh Street in the Nagar Wada area of Junagadh. The mill is always a bit noisy, and there is that specific smell of paper and machinery that stays with you even after you go home. Sudhakar A Kikani is the one who keeps things moving around here. Junagadh is a historic place, and being in Nagar Wada feels like being in the center of it all. The streets are narrow and busy, which can make deliveries a bit of a challenge, but we manage. We aren't a polished corporate entity with a glass headquarters. We are a working mill with real people getting their hands dirty. The floors are often covered in bits of scrap, and the machines have been running for years. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a marketing team. We just produce what we need to produce and make sure the mill stays running. Sudhakar is usually found somewhere on the floor rather than tucked away in an office. That’s just the way we do things. We like the grit and the reality of the work. It isn't always easy, and the heat in Junagadh can be tough, but we show up and do our jobs anyway because that’s what we know. We have been part of the landscape here for a long time.
