Nill

We’ve been running Nill from A 2 in the Harshnagar Society for a good while now. It’s located in the D Cabin area of Sabermati. Ahmedabad is a noisy place, but our little spot is relatively calm once you get off the main roads. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside. We have a simple door and some old windows that rattle when the wind picks up. Most days, it’s just the usual crew here, getting through the morning tea and then starting on the day’s work. We don’t have a website or any fancy brochures to hand out. If you need us, you generally know where to find us. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, and we all kind of look out for each other. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes it hard to stay focused, but we have a couple of good fans that keep the air moving. We aren't trying to build an empire or anything like that. We just want to do our job and earn our keep. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in Sabermati, but we’ve managed to stay put. We just take things as they come and don’t worry too much about the rest. It’s a simple life at Nill, and that suits us just fine. We show up, we work, and we go home. We don't need any big awards or recognition. Just being here and doing the work is enough for us.
