Orchid Florist

Orchid Florist is located at No. 21 in the Akshar Arcade Complex. We are right across from the Memnagar Fire Station, not far from Vijay Cross Road in Navarangpura. Our shop is usually full of buckets of water and stems that need trimming. It is a damp kind of place, especially in the mornings when the new shipments come in from the flower market. We spend a lot of time cleaning up leaves and petals from the floor to keep it tidy. It is a small space, so it smells quite strong of lilies and roses most of the time. We have been here at the arcade for a good while now. The traffic near Vijay Cross Road can be a nightmare, but it brings plenty of people by. We mostly spend our day putting together bunches for people who are heading home or going to a party. It is not as glamorous as people think; there is a lot of heavy lifting with the water crates and your hands are always wet. We have a few regular customers from around Navarangpura who stop by every week just to see what is fresh. The fire station across the street is a good landmark if you are looking for us for the first time. We don't do anything too complicated, just keep the flowers fresh and help people pick what they need. It is a nice way to spend the day, even if it is a bit messy.
