National Institute Of Occupational Health

This place is located right across from the IGP office in Meghaninagar. It’s a big building where a lot of research and health work happens. We focus on how jobs and workplaces affect people’s health. It’s a bit different from a regular hospital or office. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main city center, which helps with the work we do. There are labs and offices where people spend their days looking at data and doing tests. We’ve been in Meghaninagar for a long time now. People in the area know the building well. If you are coming to visit, the IGP office is the best landmark to use. Inside, it’s mostly just people in lab coats or at computers trying to figure out safety stuff. We don't really have a lot of walk-in traffic like a store would. It's more about the projects and the studies. Sometimes we have students or visitors coming in for meetings. The grounds are kept okay, nothing too fancy. It’s a serious place but the people working here are just regular folks doing their jobs. We try to keep things running smoothly and stay on top of the various tasks. It’s an important part of the community even if it doesn't look very exciting from the outside. We’ve seen the area change around us while we stay focused on the health side of things. Just a dedicated team working in a steady environment every day.
