National Innovation Foundation

The National Innovation Foundation is tucked away in G 102 of Shyam Apartment, right behind the Balaji Complex in Vastrapur. Being near Nehru Park means there are always people walking around and plenty of life in the area. It is a busy part of Ahmedabad, but our office itself is more like a quiet workspace in a residential building. We spend our time looking at new ideas and working on various projects that people bring to us. It’s interesting to see what kind of things folks come up with. The space isn't huge, so we have to stay organized with all the files and equipment we keep around. Most of the people working here have a real interest in seeing things grow and change. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or big signs outside. We’re just here in the 380015 area, doing our bit to help people with their inventions and new concepts. Sometimes the parking near Balaji Complex can be a bit of a nightmare, so we usually tell people to come early. It’s a very grounded place to work. We don’t have corporate slogans on the walls, just a lot of notes and sketches for different projects. It’s a practical environment where the focus is always on the actual work and the people we are trying to help. We just take things one day at a time and see where the ideas go.
