We’ve been here at 3715 Roshnara Road for a long time now. If you get off at the Pulbangush Metro Station, you just have to look across and you’ll see where we are, tucked into Street Kumaharan. It is a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to work. The shop itself isn't much to look at from the outside, but it’s where everything happens for us. We spend most of our day dealing with whatever comes through the door. Sometimes the street gets so crowded with rickshaws and people that it’s hard to move things in and out, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Our neighbors know us well, and we know them. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting things, checking lists, and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. The building is old, and it has that smell of dust and old paper that you find in these parts of Delhi. We don't have fancy desks or a lobby where people wait. Usually, people just stand around the counter and talk while we get things sorted. My father used to say that the location is everything, and being right here near the metro has helped people find us without too much trouble. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every day until the sun goes down and we can finally lock up the heavy shutters and go home.
