Shri Mahadev Corporation

Shri Mahadev Corporation is situated in Phase 3 of the GIDC, specifically at No. 48/ 1 A- B 48/ 2. Being in an industrial development area means we’re surrounded by factories and warehouses of all shapes and sizes. It’s a grid of streets that can be a bit confusing if you don't know your way around, but we’ve been here long enough that we could find our door in the dark. The building is large enough for what we do, and we’ve tried to organize it as best as we can, though things always seem to end up in the wrong place by Friday afternoon. We deal with a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks from years of use. We don't have a lot of decorations; mostly just some safety signs and a clock that’s about ten minutes fast. The heat in the GIDC can be brutal during the peak of summer, and we all end up looking pretty rough by the end of the shift. We usually have a big water cooler near the entrance that everyone crowds around. It’s a straightforward operation. We don't use big words or have long meetings. We just look at what needs to be done and we do it. It’s been our way for a long time now, and it works. We close up around six and head home to do it all again tomorrow.
