Narayani Paint & Hardware Mart

We are located at 1 Sursarthi Complex. It is right opposite the Central Bank in the Ambawadi Bazar area. Most people know this part of Ambavadi because of the bank and the market nearby. At Narayani Paint & Hardware Mart, we keep a lot of different things for home repairs. We have stacks of paint buckets and rows of brushes. Then there is the hardware side with all the metal bits and pieces you might need. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to use every inch of space, even the walls. It gets a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once. My father started this place, and I’ve been helping out for years now. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big sales team. It is just us behind the counter. We try to be helpful if you’re not sure what kind of paint to use, but we don't do any big sales pitches. The complex itself is quite busy during the day. Sometimes the light inside isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. It’s a steady business. We enjoy chatting with the neighbors who stop by for a single screw or a liter of white paint. If the phone rings and I’m busy with a customer, I might take a minute to answer it. It’s just the way things go in a small shop like this one.
