Metro Brush Work

Metro Brush Work is located at No. 32 33 in the Radheyshyam Estate in Odhav. It’s an industrial area, so it’s mostly about getting things made and shipped out. We’ve been here for a while, working out of these two units. Brushes are what we do, all kinds for all sorts of uses. It’s a dusty, busy kind of job. The estate is always full of trucks and people moving materials around. We don't have a front office with a receptionist; you just walk into the workspace and find us. We keep the machines running and the production going. It’s not the kind of place you come for a fancy meeting. It’s where work happens. Odhav is a tough part of town, very focused on industry, and we fit right in. We’ve got our routine down and we stick to it. The units are packed with raw materials and finished brushes waiting to go out. We don’t spend much time on decorating or making things look pretty. As long as the brushes are good and the orders are filled, we’re happy. Some days are long, especially when we have big batches to finish, but that’s the nature of manufacturing. It’s a straightforward business in a hardworking part of the city. We’ve known the guys in the neighboring units for years. We usually share a break around noon when the noise of the machines dies down for a bit.
