Nrityasree Kalavrund Studio

Our place is tucked away in 35/411 Parasnagar-2, right on Sola Road here in Naranpura. It is a busy spot, and you can usually hear the music or the tapping of feet from the street if the windows are open. We have been at this address for a good number of years now. Most days start early with sweeping the floors and getting the music system ready. The studio is not huge, but it fits everyone well enough. People from around the neighborhood know the building well. We spend a lot of time here, mostly teaching and practicing different steps for Nrityasree Kalavrund Studio. Sometimes it gets quite hot in the afternoons, but the fans keep things moving. There is always a pile of shoes outside the door because of the classes. It is a simple setup with mirrors on the walls and a bit of a worn-out floor from all the dancing. We do not really do much besides focus on the routines. The traffic on Sola Road can get pretty loud during the evening sessions, but we just turn the volume up. Parents wait downstairs or near the entrance of Parasnagar-2 while the kids finish up. It is just a local place where we do our work and keep things going day by day. Nothing fancy about it, just a lot of practice and the usual daily grind of running a small dance space in this part of town. We are just a few people trying to keep things going.
