N-Mangilal Masala Private Limited

We are N-Mangilal Masala Private Limited, based in the Narol area of Ahmedabad. Our place is in the Jyoti Industrial Estate, right opposite Bharat Nagar. If you look for Section 107/A/1/4, Plot No 4, that’s where you’ll find our workshop. We’ve been working with masalas for a long time now. It’s a family-run kind of thing, very traditional. The smell of ground chilies and turmeric is always in our clothes when we go home. It’s hard work, especially when the grinding machines are running all day. The noise is quite something, but we’re used to it. We get the raw materials, clean them, and then process everything right here in Juni Naro. It’s an industrial spot, so it’s not very pretty, but it’s where the work gets done. We don't have a fancy marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that people know our name from years of being around. My uncle started this, and now we all just pitch in. Sometimes the spice dust makes everyone sneeze, but it's part of the trade. We focus on getting the ratios right. Every batch is checked by hand. We aren’t looking to become some global giant, we just want to keep the local kitchens stocked. We’ve got a few delivery vans that head out every morning. It's a busy life, but we like being part of the Ahmedabad food scene. The days are long but we just keep grinding away.
