Mjmc

Mjmc is based at Mantra House, which is No 90 on Pushkardham University Road in Ahmedabad. It’s a decent area with a lot of energy because of the university nearby. Our building is easy enough to spot if you’re looking for the house number. We don’t have a huge lobby or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re pretty much right in the workspace. We have desks set up for everyone and some shelves for storage. It’s a bit of a tight fit sometimes, but we make it work. The street outside can get quite loud during the day with students and traffic. We’ve gotten used to the noise and it doesn't really bother us anymore. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking on the phone. It’s a regular job for us and we take it one day at a time. We don't really do big speeches or have a list of goals on the wall. We just know what needs to be finished by the end of the week. Sometimes we stay late if there’s a lot to do, but we try to get home at a reasonable hour. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. It’s not perfectly clean all the time, but it’s a good place to work. We like being on University Road because there are plenty of places to grab a quick snack or tea when we need a break from our desks.
