If you head over to Makarba and look behind the DCP office, you will find Siddhivinayak Towers. That is where we are, up in A-814. Being off S.G. Road is actually quite nice because we are away from the heaviest traffic, though it still gets pretty loud around five in the evening. Micon Automation Systems has been our home for a while. We spend a lot of time looking at control panels and figuring out how to make things run better for the factories that hire us. It is a lot of technical stuff, mostly sensors and wiring. The office is usually filled with the sound of someone typing or a fan humming in the corner. We have got some old folders stacked on the shelves that probably need sorting, but we are usually too busy with the current projects. It is a small team here. We usually eat lunch together at one of the small tables in the back. Sometimes we talk about the work, other times it is just about the weather or how hot Ahmedabad gets in May. We don't have a big reception area or anyone in a suit greeting you. You just walk in and see us working. It is practical and straightforward. We know our way around a circuit board better than we know how to write fancy reports. That is just how we like it. The view from the window isn't much, just more buildings, but the work keeps us busy.
