Medical Communication Network is situated at A 2 Pooja Apartment, right across from the Inductotherm factory in Bopal, Ahmedabad. Bopal has grown so much in the last few years, it’s almost hard to recognize it from when we first started. Being across from a big factory like Inductotherm means there is always some activity going on outside. Our office is in a residential apartment building, which keeps things feeling grounded. We focus on communications within the medical field, which involves a lot of coordination and technical writing. It’s not the most exciting work to talk about at parties, but it keeps us busy. The team here is small and we all wear many hats. One day I might be doing accounting and the next I’m helping with a project report. We like the location because it’s easy to get to, even if the traffic in Ahmedabad is getting worse every year. We don't have a big sign outside or a fancy entrance. People who need us usually find us through our address or a phone call. We spend our days mostly on the computers or on the phone. It’s a steady pace of work without too much stress. When the day is over, we just lock up and head home like everyone else. It is a good way to run a business without all the corporate fluff you see elsewhere. That's just us.
