Maurya Green Agro Products Limited is right in the middle of the action at 24 New Fruit Market. Being near Vijay Mills on Naroda Road means we are surrounded by the trade of fresh goods every single day. The morning starts very early for us, often before the sun is even up. That is when the trucks arrive and the market starts buzzing. Our space is functional and mostly used for sorting through the agro products we handle. It can get quite messy with crates and packing materials everywhere. We don't have fancy furniture or a quiet office environment. Instead, we have the sounds of the market and the smell of fresh produce. It’s a lively way to work. We spend a lot of time talking to the farmers and the local buyers who come through the market gates. There is a lot of back and forth, making sure the prices are fair and the quality is what it should be. We just do our part in the chain. Some days are longer than others, especially when the harvest is in full swing. We don't really have a formal way of doing things. We just handle what comes in and move it along to the next person. It’s a busy life, but we like being right here in Naroda where everything happens. When the market slows down in the afternoon, we finally get a chance to sit down and finish the paperwork.
