Marwadi Stores Extension

You can find us right outside Prem Darwaja. It’s an old part of the city, and it feels that way too. There’s always a lot of history around here, though we mostly just focus on the day-to-day stuff. Being near the gate means there’s a constant stream of people passing by. Some are just tourists, but most are locals going about their business. The store itself is an extension, so it’s not huge, but we make the most of the space we have. We keep things stacked pretty high sometimes. It gets dusty because of the road, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning the shelves. It’s a simple setup. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. We just have what we have. Some days the heat is quite something, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We’ve been outside Prem Darwaja for a long time. People know us, or at least they know where we are. We see the same faces every week. It’s nice to have that kind of connection with the neighborhood. There’s always some noise from the scooters and the rickshaws, but after a while, you stop hearing it. We open up in the morning and stay until things quiet down in the evening. It’s just a regular shop where we try to keep things honest and straightforward. Nothing more to it than that, really. There’s no big story here, just daily work.
