Maruti Packers

Maruti Packers is based at B-5 in the industrial area along G.T. Karnal Road. This is a tough, hardworking part of the city. There are always big trucks rumbling by on the main road, kicking up dust. We’ve been in this unit for quite a few years now. The warehouse is filled with rolls of bubble wrap, corrugated sheets, and mountains of brown tape. Packing isn't as easy as it looks. You have to know how to wrap things so they don't break when the truck hits a pothole, and there are plenty of those around here. We spend our days measuring boxes and making sure everything is secured properly. It’s a physical job. Our backs usually ache by the end of the shift, but we’re used to it. We aren't a big corporate shipping firm with a polished website. We’re just a group of guys who know how to pack a container. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door, and we have to move the stock around to keep it dry. We take orders from businesses nearby and families moving house. We don’t use any fancy logistics software; we mostly rely on our ledgers and knowing where everything is kept. It’s a bit messy and loud, but we get the items packed and out the door every single day. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the goods get where they need to go.
