Maheshwari Parlour & General Store

Maheshwari Parlour & General Store is basically a small corner shop we run here in Vrundavan Enclave. It is right on the Ring Road in Ahmedabad. To be honest, it gets quite noisy with all the traffic passing by, but that is just how things are at the Aec Char Rasta. We have been sitting in this shop for quite some time now. Most of the folks who live in the enclave or the buildings nearby stop by when they need something quick. We keep all the basic household stuff, snacks, and some personal care items too. It is not a fancy place or anything. The shelves are usually full of different brands of biscuits and soaps. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions because of where we are located. The shop stays open pretty long hours because people always forget to buy milk or sugar in the morning. We try to keep things organized but on busy days, it can look a bit cluttered. It is just a simple business to help the local residents get what they need without going all the way to a big supermarket. We know most of our regular customers by face. Often, we just chat about the weather or how the road construction is going while they wait for change. It is a quiet life inside the shop despite the loud horns outside. We don't have a big team, just us managing the counter and keeping track of the stock.
