Our office for M S Prashanth Projects Ltd is tucked away in Nawab House on Pbrao Marg in Mumbai. We are on the second floor in Room 16. If you know the 9th Cross Lane, you know how tight and busy those Mumbai streets can get. It’s a historic kind of building, nothing like the new towers in Worli or Bandra. We have three rooms—11, 13, and 15—but Room 16 is where a lot of the action happens. The space is filled with the sounds of the city, and it’s always a bit of a climb up the stairs. We handle project work here, so there are always folders and blueprints lying around. Mumbai is a fast city, and the office reflects that; things are always moving. We don't have a polished corporate image. We are just a group of people working out of a room in an old building. The lighting isn't the best, and the tea comes in small plastic cups from the stall downstairs. It’s a real, grit-and-grind kind of place. Being in the 400 004 pin code means we are right in the heart of things. We don't talk about 'innovation' or 'excellence' like those brochures do. We just focus on making sure the projects we have are moving forward. It’s a busy, noisy, and productive place to be every day. We’ve been here for years, and we just keep the work going one day at a time without much fuss.
