Our Ahmedabad location for Lea Associates South Asia Pvt Ltd is at 7 Kena Bunglows, right on the Motera Stadium Road in the Sabarmati area. Since we are so close to the stadium, things get really crowded whenever there is a big match or an event going on. Most days, though, it’s just a regular street in Gujarat. The office is inside one of the bungalows, so it feels more like a house than a typical office building. We have a bit of a garden area out front, though it’s mostly just some dry grass and a few hardy plants that survive the heat. 380005 is our pin code. Inside, the rooms have been converted into workspaces with desks and chairs squeezed in where they fit. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the wires and cables running across the floor. We try to keep it cool with the air conditioning, but the Gujarat sun is pretty relentless in May. There’s a kitchen where we make tea and keep our lunch boxes. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend the day. We have been here for a while and the locals know us. It’s not a shiny glass tower, just a practical spot where we can focus on our projects. We usually close up around six and head home to beat the worst of the traffic, making sure all the lights are switched off first.
