Kamlesh Tahelyani is the one who usually handles things here at Laxmi Estate Managment. We are located at 21 Patel Society, right near Jeewandeep Society in the Sardar Nagar area of Ahmedabad. If you’re familiar with Gujarat, you know how busy it can get around here. Our office is just a part of the building where we keep all the property listings and keys. It’s a lot of walking around and showing people different houses or shops that are up for rent or sale. The weather in Ahmedabad is often quite hot, so we spend a lot of time outside in the sun, meeting folks at different sites. We aren't a big agency with flashy cars or anything. It's just us and a couple of motorbikes to get around the narrow lanes of Patel Society. We deal with a lot of paperwork, which can be a bit boring, but it has to be done correctly so nobody has problems later on. Sometimes people come in just to ask about the market or what’s happening in the neighborhood. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, so we know most of the families around here. It’s more about knowing the people and the buildings than anything else. We don’t have a big marketing budget; we just talk to people and help them find a place to stay or do business. It’s a steady job that keeps us on our feet all day.
