Our workspace is up on the 8th floor of Anajani Towers. It’s on Randevnagar Road in the Satellite area of Ahmedabad. This part of the city is always buzzing with people and cars, so getting here in the morning takes some patience. The tower is a big one, and being in the 803rd unit gives us a decent view of the rooftops around us. It gets really hot in Ahmedabad during the summer, so the air conditioning is basically our best friend from March until October. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have the usual desks, some revolving chairs that squeak a bit, and a small area for keeping our lunch boxes. We tend to eat together in the afternoons, sharing whatever we’ve brought from home. It’s a very casual atmosphere. Nobody wears suits unless they absolutely have to for a meeting outside. Most days it’s just us in our regular clothes, staring at screens and talking about the work that needs to get out by Friday. The hallways of the building are usually busy with people from other offices, which gives the place a lot of energy. Sometimes we run into neighbors at the elevator and have a quick chat about the weather or the local cricket scores. It’s a solid place to work, even if it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of files piled up. We just keep our heads down and get through the list.
