Kothari Insurance Services

The office here at D 82 Nirman Complex stays pretty busy with paperwork. Ghatlodia is a lively part of Ahmedabad, and being in this complex means there’s always someone coming or going. Kothari Insurance Services started out as just a small desk and it hasn't changed all that much in spirit. We spend our hours looking over forms and talking to people about their policies. It’s not the most exciting job, but it’s important to the folks who live around here. We see the same faces quite often, which is nice. Sometimes someone comes in frustrated because they don't understand a clause, and we sit down to explain it in plain words. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a rattling noise, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We keep a stack of files that seems to grow every week. Ahmedabad summers are tough, so we’re glad to be indoors, even if the work is repetitive. We aren't some big corporate firm with a glass building. We are just here in the complex, accessible to anyone who walks in. It’s about helping neighbors get their stuff sorted out so they don't have to worry. We try to be honest about what things cost and what the papers actually mean. That’s just how we do things at this office. It might not be fancy, but it gets the job done.
