Kotak Securities

We are set up over at 47 Navyug Society in the Ambawadi area of Ahmedabad. It is right across from Manek Bagh Hall, so we usually hear music or people gathered there if there is an event going on. This is where we run the Kotak Securities office. The society is a nice place, and we have some plants near the entrance that we try to water when we remember. Inside, we have a few desks pushed together and some shelves full of old files and manuals. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people are in here at once. We spend our mornings checking the stock prices and getting things ready for when people call in. The afternoon sun can be really strong in Ahmedabad, so we have some thick curtains to keep the heat out. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a rattling sound, but it keeps us cool enough to work. We don't have any big posters or marketing stuff on the walls, just a clock and a calendar. It is a very normal, everyday kind of office where we focus on getting the numbers right. Most of us have been here long enough that we know the routine by heart. It’s just a simple workplace in a good part of the city, and we like the local feel of the society here.
