Khandwala Orthopaedic Hospital & Skin Clinic is located at 3 Amrakunj Society on S M Road in the Ambavadi area. We are quite near the Hanuman Temple and Nehrunagar, which are the main landmarks people use to find us. It’s a bit of an interesting place because we handle both bone issues and skin problems in the same building. This means our waiting room has a real mix of people, from those walking with crutches or in casts to others coming in for skin consultations. Amrakunj Society is a bit more of a residential area, so it’s not as loud as the main highway, but S M Road still stays pretty busy throughout the day. The hospital is a modest size, not a massive complex. We have the basic exam rooms and the equipment needed for our work. The floors are plain tile and the walls are mostly bare, except for some medical charts. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a bit of noise, or it gets a bit warm when the sun hits the windows in the afternoon. We’ve been here in Ambavadi for a long time, so we know a lot of the local families who come back whenever they have a new problem. We don’t have a big marketing department or fancy brochures. It’s just us, the staff, and the doctors, doing the everyday work of checking bones and treating skin. It’s a practical, local spot for people to get their medical issues sorted out.
