Aashna Orthopaedic Hospital

Aashna Orthopaedic Hospital is on the 3rd floor of Aarohi Arcade. This is right in Bopal, Ahmedabad, near the government tube well. If you know Bopal, you know it has grown like crazy lately. Being on the third floor can be a bit of a trip, but we have a lift that usually works fine, which is important when you're dealing with broken bones and bad knees. I focus mostly on orthopaedics here. People come in with fractures from falls or just old age catching up with their joints. The arcade is a busy spot with other shops and offices, so there’s always some noise in the hallways. The clinic isn't huge, but we have enough space for the x-ray machine and a couple of consultation rooms. I don’t go in for fancy decor or soft music in the waiting room. It’s just chairs and a desk. I grew up around Ahmedabad, so I talk to my patients like neighbors. If someone needs a plaster cast, we put it on and tell them to be careful. It’s a very hands-on job. Bopal can get dusty with all the construction going on, but we try to keep the hospital as clean as we can. It’s a simple, specialized place for people who have trouble walking or moving. We stay busy because there are always people tripping or hurting themselves in a growing city like this.
