Karnavati Law House

Karnavati Law House sits at Plot No- 101 in the Narayan Chamber. We are right by Nehru Bridge on Ashram Road, which is one of those places that never really goes quiet. The traffic on the bridge is a constant hum in the background of everything we do. Our office is a simple one, filled with the usual things you’d expect like tall shelves and heavy books. We spend a lot of time looking through those books and keeping our records straight. The air in the building can get a little stuffy, so we usually keep the windows open a crack to let in some air, even if it brings in the city noise. We have a few desks pushed together to make more room for all the documents we have to handle. It’s not a very big space, but we make it work by staying organized. Most of our day is spent reading or answering the phone. We take turns making tea in the little corner we set aside for a kettle. The walls have some marks from moving furniture around over the years. It’s a practical workspace for us and we don't bother much with decorations or anything that isn't necessary. It’s just about getting the work done every day and making sure we don't lose track of any files in the middle of a busy week. The building has a lot of other offices, so there’s always people coming and going.
