Just Resigned

You can find us at 15 Swet Shikhar Society, which is right across from the Pavapuri Society in the Shantivan area of Paldi. This is in Ahmedabad, and being in Gujarat, the afternoons get pretty hot. Our office is part of the society, so it has a very lived-in feel to it. It’s not a glass and steel building. It feels like a home because it mostly is. We’ve got a small garden area out front that we try to keep green, though the sun makes it hard. Inside, it’s mostly just a couple of rooms with some basic furniture we’ve picked up over the years. There are books everywhere and some old computers that still work well enough for what we need. Paldi is a nice part of town, relatively calm compared to the newer parts of Ahmedabad. We chose this spot because it didn't feel like a corporate cage. People in the society often walk by and wave through the window. We spend our mornings getting through the emails and then usually spend the rest of the day on whatever project is currently on the desk. The floors are stone, which keeps things a bit cooler during the summer months. It’s a quiet place to think and work without too many distractions from the outside world. We like the pace here, it’s steady and doesn't feel rushed. The name Just Resigned always gets a little laugh from people when they first hear it. We like being in Paldi.
