It is a decent spot, though the smell of the soap factory is something you notice when the wind blows a certain way. Our daily routine involves a lot of looking at project charts and making sure materials are where they need to be. We have a small office setup where we keep all our notes and site plans scattered across the tables. Ahmedabad gets really hot, so the mornings are usually our most productive time before the sun really starts beating down on the road outside. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just checking off lists for the different tasks we have going on. It is not a very quiet place because of the traffic on Nikol Gam Road, but we like being where the action is. Most of the time, we are just trying to stay organized and keep things moving forward without any major hiccups. There is always something to do, whether it is visiting a site or just sitting in the office sorting through old receipts and invoices. We don’t do anything fancy, just standard project work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. It is a very practical life here, just making sure the work gets finished and the bills are paid on time.
