Janki Associates

Janki Associates is based at B 1 in the Sundervan Society on Nikol Road. It’s right in the middle of the Bapunagar area in Ahmedabad. We have been working from this office for a good few years now. It’s a ground-floor spot which makes it easy for people to just walk in when they need something. The office is pretty basic, just a few chairs for visitors and our working desks in the back. We don’t really believe in spending a lot on decorations when the work is what matters. Nikol Road is always humming with traffic and people, so there is never a dull moment. We’ve got to know many of the shopkeepers and residents nearby since we started. Most of our work involves helping people with their paperwork and other local matters. We don’t have a huge staff, just a couple of us who know the ropes. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to catch up on, especially towards the end of the month. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually when we take our break. We aren't some big corporate entity; we’re just local people doing a job in our own neighborhood. We keep things honest and tell people exactly how it is. It’s a simple way to run a business and it seems to work out fine for everyone involved here.
