J P Kenny Wood Group India Pvt Ltd is based in Ahmedabad, in the Isanpur area. Our office is 20 Avsar Flat, which is right across from the Ramdevpir Temple. It is a very recognizable landmark, so people never have trouble finding us. Being near the temple means there is often music or the sound of bells in the background, which is just part of the atmosphere here. The flat we work out of is comfortable and feels more like a home office. We have set it up with everything we need to keep the business running smoothly. There are usually a few of us here every day, working away at our desks. Isanpur is a busy part of Ahmedabad, and we like being right in the middle of it. We do not have any polished reception areas or big conference rooms. We just sit around the main table when we need to talk about something important. It is a very down-to-earth way to work. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the paperwork piles up a bit when we are busy. We have lived and worked in this area for years, so we know the local vendors and the people around the temple quite well. It is just a regular office for regular people doing their jobs every day. We usually finish up in the evening and lock the flat before heading out into the busy street to go home.
