J. K. Tools

Our shop is right in the middle of the hustle at BG Tower, Block B, unit 314. If you know the Delhi Darwaja area, you know how busy it gets around here. It’s one of those spots where there’s always someone moving, a truck unloading, or someone looking for a specific part. We’ve been running J. K. Tools from this third-floor space for some time. It’s not a huge place, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. The shelves are pretty packed with different items, and sometimes finding the exact tool takes a minute if we haven't put things back perfectly the night before. Usually, the morning starts with a cup of tea while looking out toward the main road. The lift in the building can be a bit slow during peak hours, so a lot of us just end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. We don’t put on any acts here. When people come in, they usually know exactly what they want, and we just help them find it. There’s no big sales pitch. We just talk about the metal, the grip, or whatever technical bit matters. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but work comes first. It’s a straightforward business in a straightforward part of town. We like being near the gate because everyone passes through here eventually. We have been in this building so long that the security guards know us by name, which is a nice feeling.
