We work out of a bungalow in Thaltej. It's J/1 in the Aalj 19 Homes complex. It's tucked away near Shyam Vihar Bungalows, right across from Upvan. Working from a house instead of a high-rise office building is much nicer for us. It feels more relaxed and personal. We handle teaching and educational stuff under the Interteach name. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is good for focusing on the material we write. We have converted the front rooms into our main workspace. There's a small garden area outside that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds sometimes get ahead of us during the monsoon. We've been here for a while and the locals know us. It’s not a corporate vibe at all. We wear casual clothes and usually have the windows open when the weather allows. Sometimes the delivery drivers have a hard time finding the specific bungalow number because the signs are small, but we usually just wave them down from the gate. Inside, it’s just desks, books, and laptops. We do a lot of our coordination from here. It's a solid place to work without the stress of a big city tower. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and go home. It's a practical way to run things. The tea here is always hot, and we like the independence of having our own gate.
