Indina Institute Of Management Ahmedabad

Working at the Indina Institute Of Management Ahmedabad is quite something because the campus is so large. I spend most of my time over in Wing 12. If you’ve ever been here, you know the buildings have those famous red bricks that seem to hold the heat in the afternoon. My desk is tucked away in a corner of the wing where it stays relatively quiet, except for when classes let out and you can hear the students talking in the hallways. There are always stacks of books and research papers everywhere. It feels like a place where everyone is constantly thinking about something complicated. I’ve been in this office for a long time, and I’ve seen the seasons change through the narrow windows. The trees outside get really green during the monsoon, which is a nice break from the dusty summer. My job involves a lot of coordinating and making sure things are where they should be for the faculty. It’s not always exciting, but it’s steady. Wing 12 has its own personality, a bit older than some of the newer parts of the campus, but it feels sturdy. You get used to the long walks between the different blocks. I usually bring my own lunch and eat it while looking over the day's schedule. It’s a busy environment, but I just focus on my little section of the institute and getting the admin work finished.
