Indian Overseas Bank

We are based at Arbuda Flats, Flat No 2 24. It’s in Suryodaya Soc, Naranpura, Ahmedabad. Indian Overseas Bank has this space here. It’s a bit unusual to be in an apartment block, but it works for us. The society is quite old and has a lot of trees around. Our office is just a converted flat. We have the main room where we see people and some smaller rooms for the paperwork. It’s not a huge place. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when there are more than five people inside. We just try to be quick and get things done. The 380013 area of Ahmedabad is pretty decent. We’ve been here for a while, so we know most of the people who come in. We don't have any fancy digital screens or modern furniture. It’s just the basic stuff that we need. We use old ledgers and pens mostly. The sound of the ceiling fans is the background noise of our day. It’s a very simple setup. We don't try to pretend to be a big city office. We are just a local branch in Naranpura. We take our work seriously but we keep the atmosphere relaxed. It’s just about getting the daily tasks done without any fuss. That’s how we’ve always done it here in Suryodaya Soc.
