Our location is at 204 Abhishek Apartments in the 72 Brahmin Mitra Mandal Society. This part of Paldi in Ahmedabad is mostly residential, so it stays relatively peaceful compared to the main roads. The office is on the second floor, and we have been operating out of this apartment for some time now. It feels more like a home than a corporate building. We have a couple of rooms where we keep all the life insurance records and files for the people who live in Ellisbridge and nearby. It is a small team here, and we usually know the people who come through the door by name. We spend a lot of time on the computer or talking on the phone to clarify things for policyholders. There is no big sign outside, just a small one on the gate, so people sometimes have to look twice to find the society entrance. The light in the afternoons is quite bright through the windows, which is nice. We try to keep the paperwork organized, though sometimes the stacks of folders get a bit high on the wooden desks. It is a very local way of working, where we just sit down and go through the details together. There is nothing fancy about the setup, just a functional space where we handle Icici Prudential Life Insurance business for the locals. Most days are quiet, which helps us focus on the complicated forms we have to process.
