We are located at C 27 Radhikapark Society, right across from Gujarat Glass in the Jasodagar area of Ahmedabad. Our pin code is 380026. This Hdfc Slic office is basically a house that’s been converted into a workspace. It gives the whole place a bit of a homey feel, even though we are surrounded by folders and office equipment. Being opposite the glass factory means there is always some activity on the street. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we are constantly cleaning the desks. It’s a simple setup. We have a few computers and a printer that occasionally jams when we are in a hurry. The team here is small, and we’ve all worked together for quite some time. We handle the local inquiries and keep the documentation in order. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby; you just walk in and one of us will look up from our desk to see what you need. We usually have the radio on low in the background while we work through the stacks of paper. It’s a straightforward job in a straightforward part of town. People from the society often drop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about their papers. The neighbor has a dog that barks every time the mailman comes by at 11 AM. The chai from the shop around the corner has a lot of ginger in it.
