We’re located over at C 104 in Pruthvi Towers, which is right by the Jodhpur Cross Roads. If you know where the Reliance Fresh retail store is in Ahmedabad, then you’ve basically found us. Being Hdfc Ergo Gic Ltd means we spend a lot of our time dealing with general insurance stuff. It’s a lot of reading through policies and checking boxes on forms. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space with some filing cabinets and computers that have seen better days. The area stays quite noisy because of the traffic at the cross roads, but you get used to it after a while. We have people coming in all the time asking about their car insurance or health coverage. Usually, they have a lot of questions about what is covered and what isn't, and we do our best to find the right page in the manual to show them. It’s practical work, really. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone in suits standing at the door. It’s just us, sitting here in 380015, trying to make sure the paperwork is in order. Sometimes we get a bit backed up when a lot of claims come in at once, but we just take them one by one. It’s a steady rhythm of scanning documents and answering the phone. We just keep at it until it’s time to lock up and head home.
