Down here at 147 Harichandra Nagar, near Dipen Nagar and Sumin Nagar, you’ll find our Hdfc Bank branch. We are right on Vastral Road in the Odhav area of Ahmedabad. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always something going on outside our doors. We spend most of our time at the counters, helping folks with their passbooks or checking on their balances. It's nothing too complicated, just the usual bank work that keeps the neighborhood going. We have a small team here and we’ve gotten to know the regulars quite well over the months. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles a bit in the heat, but we keep working through it. We aren't interested in using big words or making promises we can't keep. We just handle the cash and the documents as they come across the desk. It’s a straightforward setup. You won't find any flashy decorations here, just the desks, the chairs, and the computers we use for the accounts. Most of our day is spent listening to what people need and trying to find the right form for them. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local scene in Odhav. People drop by on their way to the market or after picking up their kids. It’s just a normal part of the daily routine for everyone living around Harichandra Nagar.
