We operate out of 31 Viral Appartment in Thaltej, which is a pretty nice part of Gujarat. It’s not a huge office, just a practical space where we handle the daily banking needs of the people living around here. Most of our day is spent looking at screens and talking to people across the counter. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans or the AC going full blast. You’ll often find us sorting through stacks of papers or helping someone who forgot their PIN. The atmosphere is pretty informal for a bank. We talk about the local news or the cricket scores while we work. Because we’re in an apartment building, it feels more like being part of the community rather than just a cold business. People stop by to complain about the traffic or just to say hello while they’re doing their banking. We don’t have fancy coffee machines, just a local tea guy who comes by twice a day. It’s a simple routine of opening the gates, serving the customers, and making sure the cash tallies at the end of the evening. Sometimes things are a bit chaotic when the system goes down, but we just wait it out and chat with whoever is in the lobby. It’s just how things are at this Thaltej branch, nothing more and nothing less than a regular day at work.
