We’re based out of C 14 in Ankit Park, which is in the Satellite area of Ahmedabad. It’s a pretty well-known spot, so people don’t usually have trouble finding us. The office is part of a larger complex, and we’ve been in this particular unit for quite a while. The sun hits the front of the building hard in the afternoon, so we usually keep the blinds pulled down to stay cool. It’s a straightforward setup inside—desks, chairs, and a whole lot of computer hardware piled up. We handle a variety of system tasks for Hcl Infosystems here. Most of our day is spent dealing with technical issues or managing logistics for local deliveries. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We have some plants by the window that we occasionally remember to water, though they’ve seen better days. The team is small, just a handful of us who know the ropes. We often eat lunch together at our desks, talking about local news or whatever is on TV. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we stay busy enough. There’s always a stack of paperwork on the main table that never seems to get any smaller. That’s just the way it is. We like being in Satellite; it’s a good part of the city for a business like ours.
