You can find our place at B 8 in the Devbhumi Apartment complex in Ahmedabad. Being located inside an apartment building makes us a bit different from those big, sprawling hospitals you see in the city center. It is a much more local and quiet setup. We have been operating out of this space for many years now, and the people living in the surrounding blocks have become very familiar to us. The space inside is kept as clean as we can manage, though with patients and their families coming in and out all day, it is a never-ending task to keep things tidy. We have the basic equipment we need and a few small rooms for people to wait in. It isn't a place with glass elevators or fancy cafeterias. We just focus on the medical work and trying to help out the folks who walk through our door. The parking outside can be a bit of a headache sometimes since it is a residential area, but we usually figure it out. We don’t really do any big advertising or have a social media page. Most of our work comes from people in Gujarat who just know us by word of mouth. It is a simple, practical way to run things. We work long hours, often staying late into the evening if someone needs us. It is just a regular part of the neighborhood, providing a service to the people who live nearby without any fuss or corporate polish.
