Guru Medical & Cosmetics

Guru Medical & Cosmetics is over in Shop 17 at the Ganesh Shopping Centre. If you know the Sureliya Road area in Amraiwadi, we are quite easy to find, especially being near Murlidhar Society. We sell medicines but also have a good section for cosmetics because people always ask for soaps and creams along with their tablets. It’s a lively neighborhood. The shop can get pretty noisy with the traffic outside, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time stocking the shelves and checking expiry dates. It’s important work even if it’s a bit tedious. Customers come in looking for all sorts of things, from basic first aid to specific skincare. We try to keep a bit of everything. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and we have to reorganize everything in a hurry. That's just part of running a shop in Ahmedabad. We know most of our regular customers by name. It’s nice when someone stops by just to say hello while they’re out doing their grocery shopping. We don’t have a big corporate team, just us working behind the counter every day. The fans hum in the background and we keep the lights on until late evening. It's a practical business. We focus on getting people what they need so they can go back home and take care of their families. Nothing too complicated about it. We just keep the doors open and the shelves ready.
