Gulf Pacific

We work out of Ashwamegh 3, which is Bungalow number 20 on Satellite Road in Ahmedabad. It’s a bit different working from a bungalow instead of a tall office building, but we like it that way. Satellite Road is a busy area, but once you step inside the compound, it gets much quieter. We handle things for Gulf Pacific from here. The rooms have been turned into offices, and we’ve got desks tucked into what used to be living spaces. It gives the whole place a very informal and local feel. We have a small yard out front where some of the staff park their bikes. Most of the day is spent on the phone or working through logistics on our laptops. Since we are in Ahmedabad, the summers get really hot, so we keep the coolers running all day long. We don't have any fancy receptionists or glass walls. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us drinking tea and going over some spreadsheets. It’s a honest way to earn a living, and being on Satellite Road means we are close to everything we need. We’ve been in this bungalow for a good bit of time now, and it feels like a second home to most of us. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the local business keeps moving. It's a simple life and it works for us every single day.
